Age: 3 – 7 Join us for a youth music workshop with Sonic Arts for All (SAFA!) to kick off our book and music fair, Press Play. In this hands-on, two hour pop-up workshop at Press Play, SAFA! instructors focus on student exploration and independent projects through making music with new technology. Using tablets, drum machines, synthesizers, and recording equipment, each student can experiment with technology while being able to pursue and create music that is entirely their own. Students will learn basics of each devices, and then be given room and guidance to create their own musical work. At the end of the workshop, they can share with the rest of the class and their work will be made available to share after with friends and family!

Be prepared to track fantastic beasts through a forbidden (rain)forest, dance with Hagrid-like giants, encounter a cute cousin of dragons, stalk hunters scarier than any auror, and more.
