Back to School Concert with Two of a Kind, Sept. 7 at 10:30 a.m.,http://twoofakind.com/. Two of a Kind delights audiences of all ages with their music, good humor and audience participation. David and Jenny Heitler-Klevans of Two of a Kind love bringing people together and building community through music. A Writer’s Life Q&A: Creating a Picture Book with Grant and Jodie McCallum, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. Local authors and illustrators Grant and Jodie McCallum will present information about creating a picture book including tips for writers and illustrators interested in learning more about the children’s picture book publishing process.
Following their presentation (approximately 7 p.m.), they will be available to sell and sign copies of their book Chita, the Tin Goose, a Mostly True Story.
All proceeds benefit the Liberty Aviation Museum and go toward youth education aviation programs and the restoration of another Tin Goose at the museum.
